Pangasaasanii Gowrisan began her Carnatic music and Bharatha Natyam lessons in 1988 at the Temple of Fine Arts at the tender age of 4, under Kumari Sivamany Selliah and Shrimathi Radha Shetty respectively. Two years later, she enrolled for violin lessons under the tutelage of the late Sangeetha Booshanam Shrimathi Valambikai Rajagopalan and has never looked back since.

Saasanii has participated in numerous functions organized by temples and cultural societies as well as in radio programmes locally.
